Memorial service honors Jazz

STORRS — The University of Connecticut community Thursday night bid one last tearful goodbye to its fallen football player, 20-year-old Jasper Howard.
“A Celebration of Jazz” at the Jorgensen Center for the Performing Arts brought together students, athletes, teachers, coaches and administrators to commemorate Howard’s life and impact on the university community.
